Rate: £16+ per hour depending on experience

The Role
We’re looking for a bright, organised, and proactive Engagement & Events Coordinator to support our team. You’ll help deliver events, public exhibitions and workshops, manage office operations, and have the opportunity to get involved in planning and delivering stakeholder and community engagement programmes.
This role is flexible and ideal for someone who can commit at least 2 days per week. There is also scope for this role to become permanent if it goes well and the work continues.
Key Responsibilities
- Book venues and coordinate event logistics (travel, accommodation, project teams)
- Support office administration, including supplies management
- Conduct research and maintain contact databases
- Make stakeholder calls to drive event registrations
- Collate feedback and contribute to consultation reports
- Take notes at meetings (online and in person)
- Staff public exhibitions and workshops, welcoming attendees
- Assist with planning and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement programmes
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and proactive
- Comfortable using initiative and working independently
- Previous office or events experience is desirable but not essential
- Interest in stakeholder engagement or project coordination is a plus
Personal Qualities
- Personable, collaborative, and fun to work with
- Willing to travel for events
